I went to a wedding in Walton-on-Thames, just about 45 minutes south of London in the English countryside. Arrived Friday night to Gatwick, only to be picked up by a guy with the HEAVIEST cockney accent who seriously played the Beatles and talked about footy the whole ride. Such a character....Went to the rehearsal dinner at a pub, stayed until late....Saturday morning, took a trip to Hampton Court-- where Henry the 8th among other monarchs used to live-- and saw some American royalty in the form of Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn!!! They were just visiting the castle, incredibly non-discreetly, though Goldie was wearing her shirt inside out...Oooops....Saturday night-- wedding at this MANSION where the likes of the Vice President of Goldman Sachs was our barman....Sunday, flew home and ate spaghetti....
